I answer as soon as I can. This is a one-person project, so it may take a few days.
You don’t need to tell me how you’re doing. To sort out a technical problem, your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what happened are enough. Don’t paste your entries or your notes into the email: they’re yours, and I don’t need to see them.
On your iPhone. There’s no server, no account, and the app contains no networking code: it has no way to send anything anywhere.
Through your iPhone backup, if you left Include my entries in backups turned on under Settings → Data. When you restore the new phone from that backup, your entries come back.
If you turned that option off, your entries are not in any backup. Export a CSV from the Export tab before you let go of the old phone.
In the Export tab: Export CSV or Export PDF. Files are generated on your iPhone, and you choose where they go.
Settings → Data → Delete all my data. It deletes your entries, your notes, your tags, and your preferences. It can’t be undone. It doesn’t delete files you already exported, or your iPhone backups.
No. There’s no trash and no change history.
No — it’s one entry per day. But you can edit it as many times as you want, that day or later.
Because a day without an entry isn’t a debt. It isn’t a zero, it isn’t a broken streak, and it doesn’t show up as a gap you need to fill. That’s a design decision, not something missing.
Check that notifications are allowed in your iOS Settings, under soin. If they’re blocked there, the app can’t reach you even if the reminder looks turned on.
In your iOS Settings, under soin, there’s a language option. soin is available in Spanish and English, and follows whatever you pick there.
No. For now soin is iPhone only.
soin is a personal logging tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, it does not assess, and it gives no therapeutic recommendations. If you need help, talk to a professional.
